This Friday, MN8* presents DeVaughn Incarnations featuring Raheem DeVaughn, Urban Ave 31, Crossrhodes, and Chronkite. For one evening only, Raheem DeVaughn dedicates an evening to his many musical incarnations of the past, present, and future. In addition to dusting off jams such as "Heaven Help Us All" and "Damn, Damn," Raheem will perform his hits from his solo debut disc, "The Love Experience" as well as premiere cuts from his Fall Release "Love Behind the Music" including the drive tempo banga "NRG" and hopefully the pensive ballad "Nobody Wins a War." It's on an poppin' for one nite only, this Friday at the 9:30 Club with very special guest, Bilal Salaam and his electro-soul quintet opening your mind with that next level music.

While you may have seen Idris Elba as Stringer Bell on The WIRE, or as a featured actor in Daddy's Little Girls and 28 Weeks Later, you will only see him as DJ DRIIS, up close and personal at tonite's event, mixing the hottest hip-hop and soul jams.

Between Driis' DJ sets which will launch and close out the evening, Eric Roberson will hit the stage performing cuts from his new disc,"Left." Although Eric Roberson is an Independent artist his music is being widely received as one of the best releases of the year.
